COVID-19 Update:

Special thanks to community partners and donors who are helping us ensure justice-involved youth are not forgotten about during the current pandemic. If you’d like to help, please donate here or email us at

In an effort to provide critical employment and educational programming to justice-involved youth during these unprecedented times, we are transitioning offerings of our career education programs to a distance learning platform. Our goal is to prepare youth with career readiness education so they can search for and find a job when they return to their communities. We are also increasing reentry support to help juveniles returning home navigate the new challenges they and their families will face during the pandemic. This support includes:

  • Delivering one week of groceries and personal hygiene items to youth returning to the community. We are working with CitySquare to secure donations when they have the capacity, but are also accepting monetary donations to support a food pantry at Youth Village. You can also purchase items from our Amazon Wish List.
  • Creating personalized reentry resource guides for each youth returning to the community. These guides will address critical needs during this global pandemic, such as helping youth locate the nearest shelter, health clinic, food pantry or other assistance in their neighborhood.
  • Establishing reliable contacts with new and existing community partners who address areas of high needs, such as housing, jobs, food security and financial assistance resources for our students and their families.
  • Career coaching and connecting youth to employers in this transitional job market.
  • Assisting with specific individual requests from youth who are in need of resources during these challenging times.
